Walter Lamont Brown "Bo"

Walter Lamont Brown, “Bo” was born October 30, 1972 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Ella Ruth Brown and the late Walter Brown Jr. In his early years he participated in Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed outside activities such as camping, fishing, and hunting. He graduated from  LaMarque High School in 1991, where he played football. Lamont was baptized later in life at Westward Church of Christ.

After high school, Lamont began studying in the medical field. He worked several years at St. Joseph’s hospital and UTMB as a CNA. He was recognized as an employee of the month for his hard work and dedication. A large part of his career was spent at The City of Galveston Water Department. He later began an electrician apprenticeship.

Lamont departed this life on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Lamont is preceded in death by his father, Walter Brown Jr. and his sister Karen McNair. His memory will live on through his mother, Ella Ruth Brown; his children, Quinton L. Brown, Dallas A. Brown, Cameron L. Brown, and Taliyah L. Brown; his grandchildren, Caleb M. Jones Jr. and Skylar N. Brown; his sisters Rosalind Williams (James), Andrea Swain, and Sheri Umanah (Sunday), and a host of family members and friends.
