Vicki Sue Washington was born on November 25, 1949, in Alice, Texas to Edward Lee DeVoe and Katherine Pleasant DeVoe Ware.
Vicki met and married Joseph Washington and three children were born to this union. Joseph and Josephine were twins who received their wings at birth and Aretha Washington all were born in Brunswick, Georgia. Vicki returned to Houston, working for Methodist Hospital as a Phlebotomist. She was a faithful member of Willing Workers Baptist Church Once she decided to retire from Methodist she began to fulfill her true path of service working for Willing Workers Baptist Church under the Leadership of Pastor J.C. Carrington and retired with thirty, plus years of dedicated service.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father; her mother and her brother, Floyd E. DeVoe.
Vicki leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Aretha Washington; sister, Shirley Josey of Texas City, four nieces; two nephews; a host of cousins and all of her Willing Workers Family.
