TiaMoya De’Schondra Yoliece Moore was a beloved daughter, mother, god-mother, sister, aunt and friend whose warmth, wisdom and presence left a lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with. Her enduring kindness earned her an admiration of friends, neighbors and colleagues alike. TiaMoya embraced life with an adventurous spirit and an infectious zest for exploring the unknown. Her legacy is one of courage, curiosity and a deep appreciation for the richness of life.
She was currently working at Jack in the Box as a manager. Continuing her education at College of the Mainland online, she was attempting to get her GED. She had received her TWIC card and was on the road to being employed at the chemical plants.
Now TiaMoya is preceded in death by her grandmother, Bennie Mae Marshall-Thompson and her grandfather Olan Daniel DeBlanc. Family meant everything to Tia. She is survived by her grandparents Geraldine Malone and James Thompson, Jr. parents Yolanda Thompson and Clarence Moore, Jr. five children listed as Raniya Johnson, Keonni Andrews, Mi’Lia Justice, Khalil Justice and Mi’Lani Justice. She also has siblings who are Joey Thompson, Donte’ Allen, Toddrick Ryals, Malik Bryant, and Josiah Moore. Her sisters Kenia Moore, Aneesah Moore, Mya Moore and she leaves behind bonus brothers (cousins) Brandon, Tony and Tauderic Thompson; God-parents: Kathy Warnell and David Dorsey Jr.; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and countless others who were touched by her generosity and kindness.
Tia had a heart for helping those in need, bringing joy to everyone around her. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, quick wit, storytelling, and unwavering strength will remain with us always. As we say goodbye we remember not just the moments we shared but the love that continues to guide and inspire us as a family.
