Stephanie Renee (“Stephâ€) Jenkins Obituary

Stephanie Renee Jenkins was born on July 31, 1971. Unbelievably kind, talented, brilliant, humble, sincere, and had a fond love of the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ and God our Heavenly Father and Creator of All. Stephanie, or “Steph”, never had a mean spirit toward others. Highly educated, she earned undergraduate and graduate degrees by attending the University of Southwestern Louisiana, the University of Saint Thomas, and Prairie View A&M University. Stephanie was a licensed Insurance Agent and owned her own insurance agency business located in Houston and La Marque, Texas.  Stephanie loved her family and her family roots which started in the Bayou State of Louisiana. Stephanie enjoyed spending time with friends and family and valued worshipping the Lord her entire life. Stephanie was a faithful church member of the New Covenant Christian Church at 10603 Blackhawk in Houston, Texas, and followed the spiritual path under Bishop Bill Hines. Stephanie loved her New Covenant church family.  Stephanie dedicated her entire adult life to helping and unselfishly giving back to others. Stephanie spent the last seven years of her life with her companion and significant other Donald Ray Williams traveling the world, sightseeing, enjoying good home-cooked meals, laughing, and shopping. Stephanie loved children and she believed in educating students of all ages. She served as the School Board President of a charter school located in Houston, Texas, and volunteered numerous amounts of time in the community on projects designed to help children and the underprivileged. The special loved ones and friends in Stephanie’s life are too numerous to mention, but if you ever shared a moment with Stephanie, you already know what she meant to you. Stephanie shared a marriage with her ex-husband Anderson Jenkins, and she leaves behind other extended family members.

“Job well done my good and faithful servant.”
