Quanterra Lamont Wilson, Sr. was born November 22, 1975, to Walter Lee Mason and Bobbie Jewel Wilson. Quanterra transitioned from his earthly life into his eternal life on January 10, 2025.
Quanterra, affectionately called “Punkin “ by family, also known as “Grip” or “Q” by all who knew him, was raised in Texas City, Texas, and attended Texas City Independent School District. During his high school years, he ran track and played football. After high school, Quanterra took up a trade in the industrial field, where he currently worked as a certified Rigger until his health no longer allowed him to work.
During Quanterra’s spare time, he enjoyed scrapping, going to sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his children.
Quanterra was preceded in death by his father Walter Lee Mason, his maternal and paternal grandparents, his aunts Bobbie Jenkins and Joyce Mason, and other loved ones.
Quanterra leaves cherished memories of love with his mother, Bobbie Sanford (Alford); stepmother Alicia Mason; children, David Stewart (Julan), Ka’Tera Wilson and Quanterra Wilson Jr.; siblings, Kizzie Cockrell (Tavagoh, Sr.), Ronnie Harris, William Proctor, Sheralyn Daniels, and Damien Singleton; nephew, Tre’ Vauzhae’ Webb, and Tavagoh Cockrell, Jr.; devoted companion, Ana Vasquez; special cousin, Brandie Loud; devoted friend, William McDaniel, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
