Nicole Denise Simon was born in Galveston, TX to Beverly and Leroy Simon on  February 22, 1993. She was a beautiful and happy baby, loved by her family.  

     Nicole was raised in La Marque, TX and educated in LMISD. She graduated in 2011 as a Distinguished Student. As she mastered her instrument, the Saxophone, she played in the Marching Band. She began this love for music in the 6th grade and carried it thru her high school years.  Her health began to fail early but she never complained and never missed her school day unless it was just impossible to attend. She made these days few and far between.  Unfortunately, her illness progressed rapidly, and she was unable to achieve her many plans. Needless to say, she spent as much time as her health would allow following her dreams and plans for her future.  Nicole received many Accolades, Certificates and Honors for her studies and participated in many Community activities. She enjoyed every moment and made her special with no negativity or complaints about her situation. Her faith in God was displayed in her everyday life. 

     On Monday, July 7, 2025 at HCA Mainland Hospital in Texas City, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy John Simon, Sr. and many other relatives and friends, whom she loved, and they loved Nicole. Her memory is cherished by her mother, Beverly Simon, who loved her very much and was her caregiver during her illness; her brothers, Greer Grant, Grill Grant, Leon Vallair, and Leroy Simon Jr.; sisters, Shameka Grant and Ashley Vallair along with many other family members and friends.   We cannot forget her constant companion, “SHAKEY”.
