Mrs. Willie Sandles Obituary

Mrs. Willie Julien Sandles gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 12:14 p.m. Mrs. Willie Julien Sandles, 86, was born on February 23, 1937 in Lafayette, Louisiana and reared in Rayne, Louisiana from the union of Philibert Julien and Rosa Anna Francois. She was the middle child of ten (10) siblings, in which she was the last surviving sibling. Willie was a great culinary figure as well as an avid homemaker. Willie moved to Galveston, Texas in 1959 to live with her Sister, Mary Bertha Fiest. She was introduced to her future husband, L.T. Sandles and they were united in matrimony in 1960. From this union was one child. She was of the Catholic faith until her uniting with The First Missionary Baptist, under Rev. F.M. Johnson in the mid 70's.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. L.T. Sandles.

She is survived by her Son, Kevin Sandles.
