On January 23, 1930, in Brenham, TX, a baby girl was born to the late John and Clara Carethers.  They named her Minnie Ola Carethers aka “Kitten”.

     Minnie was one of seven siblings. (all preceded in death).  Minnie later resided to Dickinson, TX, where she met and married the late Albert George, Jr.  They had six daughters and one son. Minnie was a home maker and a strong believer in loving and protecting her family. 

     She loved to dance, sew, iron and take walks she was a very sweet, peaceful, loving woman and always stood strong even in her final days. Minnie was blessed at 95 to see five generations being created and making memories over the years of her life.

     She leaves her love and memories to her children. James Edwards, Jr., Johnny George-Williams, Beatrice Williams-Bimage, Bobbie George-Rogers, Christine George (Esther George-Clay and Betty George: preceded in death).  Her sixteen grand-children, twenty two great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.  She also had a special place in her heart for her 4 grandchildren that she helped raise Yulonda, Tyrus, Dedra, and Torrie.   Her special nieces and nephews, Lottie Ray, Charles Ray, (Marie Ray and Nathaniel Lee Ray: preceded in death) with a host of family members and friends.
