Mary Evelyn (Francis) Swan Obituary

 

     Mary Evelyn Swan passed away on August 12,2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 16,1942 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Evelyn and Oralee Francis. Mary was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Big Granny. 

     Mary moved to Texas City where she met and married her beloved husband, Henry Swan. She stayed faithfully by his side until her earthly departure. Mary enjoyed cooking for her family, singing and dancing to her favorite music.

     Mary leaves to cherish her memories her husband and Love of her Life Henry, her sons Troy (Jawanna) and Keidrick Swan, whom she loved with all her heart. Her grandchildren LaTasia, Dillon, Troiante’, Kiana, Taylor, Tyler, and Kaylah. Her Great Grandchildren Malaya, Brooklyn, Chance, Nylah, Kyomi and Bronx. Sister Joyce (Lawrence) Fontenot. Her Bonus kids Romonica (Kent) Walker, Travis (Toni) Guillory, Angel (Darrel) Hackett and Tracey Milo. A host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

     Mary will be reuniting in heaven with her parents; her brothers, Daniel, Sidney and Orun Francis; and her bonus son, Raymond Swan. Special thanks to her Hospice team Lacy, Angie and Lita.
