Larry "Big Meat" Reese was born on March 29, 1959, to the late Shirley Walker Lee and Leroy Reese Jr., in Galveston, Texas. Wayne as he was affectionately called, was a very caring and loving dad, grandfather, uncle, nephew, friend, and cousin. Wayne was such a joy to be around with a loving attitude and crazy sense of humor. Wayne was educated in the Galveston Independent School District. His biggest joy was spending time with his sisters and other family members sitting on the front porch at his sister Lafay "PeeWee" house.

     Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife Brigitte Reese, his mother, Shirley Walker Lee and stepfather Cornell Lee, and father Leroy Reese Jr., his son Reese Cleveland Lartigue and daughter Nydeeka Lartigue, his grandson Malik Pratt, his maternal grandparents Preston and Maebell Walker SR., his paternal grandparents Leroy Reese Sr., and Clara Reese., his brother Leroy "Butch" Reese, his best friend Russell "Sarge" Smith, his uncle’s Floyd and William "Lucky" Walker; His cousins Preston Jr., Tony, Keith, Kevin, and Darrell Walker.

     Wayne leaves to cherish his memories with his loving daughter Lashendrea Lartigue, son, Leroy Williams (Valerie); Step-son, Brandon Reese, sisters, LaFay Reese; Lisa Hardeman (Ervis); Stephanie Reese-Young (Robert); Angel Reese; Annie Mae McDaniel (Nathan); mother of his son, Connie Williams; Grandkids, Reauhnnia, Camavia, Jasper, Jazz-che, Leyah, Leroysha, Leawana, Leandra, Leona, and Leroy Jr., nephews, Shannon Kneeland, Anthony Hall Sr(Nicksandra); Steven Reese, Micheal James II, Adrian Tiseno, Daniel Young; nieces, Shanell Kneeland, Stormy Hall, Shaneka McCoy(Dedrick), Tameka Moses (Brace), Leroysha Reese, Crystal Young, special niece, Chelsi Reese, Jasmine Hall. A very special aunt, Sheila Walker Hart (Larry); uncles, Preston Walker Sr., Bural Walker (Tona), Clarence "Duke" Walker (Sandra); Lester "BayBay" Walker (Marie) Special Uncle, Lawrence Walker Sr. (Tommie Dale); Special cousins, Tiffany, Terrell Mitchell, Prestina, LaPorsha, Tara Walker, Angela Walker, Doris, and Darrell McCoy.
