Julius Jamaal Jones Sr., affectionately known as “Ducky”, was born August 4th, 1983 to Phyllis Jones and Charles Branch of Galveston, Texas. “Ducky” departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

     Julius is preceded in death by his father, Charles Branch; grandfather, John Henry Jones, II; uncles, John Henry, III “Chee Chee/PeeWee”, Darrell and Kenneth Jones; aunt, Marietta Jones; cousins, Derrick “Tek9” Glenn, DaRell “Moo Moo” Glenn and Lorencia “Shae” Lewis.

     Julius leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Phyllis Jones, brother Charles Jones Sr., grandmother Faith Jones, aunt Karen Jones (Clyde), aunt Pat Glenn, aunts Irene and Joann Branch, uncles Leonard Jones, Tommy, James Earl, Chris and Jessie Branch. Children; Julian & Khalil McDaniel, Julicia Jones, Jayden Jones, Julius Jones Jr., Jayceon Mason and Nyla Jones. Nieces and nephews; Charles Jr., Monae, Christian(Fayesha), Major “Man Man” and Mariah Jones. Cousins; Sonya Moses, Curtis Williams, Tyree Williams, Clyde Jones, Sharonda and Tamisha Glenn, Deshaundra (Neese) Jones, Asha Holmes, Abraham Holmes, Ishmael Holmes, Aisheia Jones-Allen,Jason Murray, Cavance Holmes, Aiyanna Allen, Lakisha Jones, Alexis Clay, Clarence Smith, Cornelius Smith, Demetrius Jones, and Joel Garcia.
