Edna Lorraine Goins Obituary

Edna loved people, she worked as a Nurse for 41 years. Her love to help people, moved her to dedicate her life and get baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witness on October 19, 2002. She later enjoyed the privilege of the full-time ministry as she served as a regular pioneer, spending many hours in the ministry helping others to know her loving father, Jehovah. She had an unmovable faith in the redeeming value of Jesus’ shed blood and resurrection hope. These and other Bible truths sustained and encouraged her throughout her life.  In her life’s journey, she was very successful in many secular pursuits. Those closest to her will remember her as both a student and a teacher of Bible truths about Jehovah God and His Kingdom.

She was once asked, “In your life, do you have any regrets?” Her answer, “I can truly say I have no regrets in my life. As a faithful servant of Jehovah, my greatest gift is the love that I have
received from Jehovah. Also, my two sons, Anthony and Andra, all my grandkids, numerous friends, extended family members, spiritual brothers and sisters, as well as a host of other dear ones, longing to see them again in God’s promised new world.

She is Survived by Her Sons:  Anthony Hosea Sr. and Andra Hosea (Kathy); Her Grandchildren: Anthony Hosea Jr, Tericia Jackson (Jerod), Ashana Holloway, Alivya Hosea; Her Great Grandchildren: Kyndall Hosea, Aubrei Hosea, and Natalia Hosea; Dear Friends: Lonnie Hosea Jr., Natalie Jones, and Sister-In-Law Dorothy Goins. As well as her many friends and Brothers and Sisters in the Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Sr. and Luberta Goins; sisters: Alma Morris, Estella Goins, Sharon Thompson, Myrtle Carlisle, and brothers: Henry Lee Goins, Edward Goins Jr.
