Mr. Eddie R. Pines-Peterson, III was born in Galveston, TX to Gilda Caldwell-Peterson and Eddie R. Pines II who preceded him in death. Eddie, affectionately known as “SCOOTER” was baptized at Greater Mt. Carmel in League City, TX. and later joined, Family Christian Center in Dickinson, TX under his Uncle, Pastor Lloyd Caldwell Sr. Later in life he joined New Life Community Church where he remained a member. Scooter attended Dickinson ISD. He was employed at Clear Lake Hospital in transportation, he also worked at Hermann Memorial Hospital as the lead cook. He loved taking care of people. Scooter comes from a large family that adores him. He loved to dress, cook, and DJ Music. He was always the life of the party and he never had a dull moment, EVER!! He had a million-dollar smile and a winning personality, and he has touched the hearts of many. He will be truly missed.

     Scooter is preceded in death by grandparents, Geneva C. and Grover McGaskey, Idella and Eddie Pines, Sr.

     He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Gilda Caldwell-Peterson, aunt Tammy, and Efren Gipson Sisters: Deatrea Caldwell, Felicia Caldwell, Ashley Caldwell, Andrea Evans, Jackie Pines, Tammy Pines, Anita Pines, Iretha Pines, Aimee Perez, Ina Pines, nephew, Jaqulyn Arceneaux; Goddaughter, Kendall Jackson; great-niece, Sayori Sasser as well as a host of family and friends.
