Derrick Dwyane Glenn was born on December 13, 1976, to Patricia Ann Glenn and John Henry Jones, Jr. He left to be with the Lord on December 10, 2024.

     Derrick attended Galveston public schools and later Graduated from Texas City High School. Derrick was known for his acrobatics skills and pranks. He loved working, spending time with his kids, his family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his brother: DaRell Glenn "Moo Moo"; father, John Jones, Jr. "Che Che", grandfathers: Johnny Glenn and John Jones, Sr.; grandmother: Leola Lewis; niece, Lorencia Lewis "Shay Lew" and his nephew, Corinthian Simpson.

     Left to cherish his memories are his mother: Patricia Glenn, daughters: Kaylah Glenn and D’Nyah Glenn, grandmother: Faith Jones, sisters: Cheronda (“Dre” McDaniel, Tamisha Glenn and Sonya (Sherman Moses), Godsister: Jola Mathews, brothers, Terry Johnson and James Jones, his nieces: Lee Blevins, Alexi McDaniel and Akeida Archie, nephews: Markiese Garrett, Brian Garrett, Curtis Williams and Tyree Williams plus a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.
