Demetrius Tyrone Hall, a.k.a. “Zilla” or "Meatball"  was born July 22nd, 1963 in Galveston, Texas, to the late Francis Marie Milson and James Hall, Jr. He attended the public schools in Galveston Independent School District throughout his life. He was a God fearing man with a personal relationship with God and would pray often. His love for his 6 children, 21 grandchildren, 6 great grand children, family and friends was felt in time. He entered the room. Tyrone was a natural born comedian, roasting, any and everyone in pure fun was definitely his specialty. 

     At a young age, Tyrone enjoys singing and dancing, where him and his siblings would enter all of the talent shows and win most of them.  Tyrone's charismatic charm and witt always kept a smile on the faces of anyone that he was in his presence.  Tyrone was an avid fisherman who loves spending time outdoors. Throughout his life, he always had a knack for making a bad day, turn into a great day with just his compassion and genuinely lively personality. 

     Tyrone gained his wings on February 5, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Francis Milson; sisters, Linda Beckworth, Ginger McNair; brothers, Charles Lacey, Sr. and James Hall; and nephew, Reginald, "Nae" Paul.

     His joyous spirit and boisterous character will be forever loved, remembered and missed by his father, James Hall; children, Demetrius D. Rogers, Taneka Brooks-Morning, Diamond Hall, Tyrone Hall, Jr., Annette “Monique” Hall and Bertha Luna; his 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Lonnie Hall, Sr.; sisters, M. L Mayfield, Doris Browser, Annette Smith, Sandra Hall, Francis Owens, Jamesha Burns, Lonisha Burns, Tina Burns-August, Robin Jordan, Yolanda Robinson, and Jamie Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Demetrius Tyrone Hall “Zilla” will forever hold a special place in all of our lives and hearts.
