Bobbie Jean Allen was born on March 10, 1951, to Douglas Cooper, Sr., and Willie Mae Green Cooper in Galveston, Texas.
Bobbie Jean graduated from Lincoln Memorial High. She was an employee with La Marque Independent School District for many years, where she retired. She loved her family and grandkids. Bobbie liked family gatherings, and anyone who came across her path, she showed love and welcomed them like they were a part of the family.
God saw fit to call our dearly beloved Bobbie Jean home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Cooper and her father, Douglas Cooper, Sr., loving sisters, Linda Fae Venzant and Mary Cooper Frank.
Bobbie leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her husband of 55 years, A. C. Allen; children, Roderick (Valiclera) Allen, Ronald “Keke” Latonya Allen, Derrick (Gina) Allen, and Latrisha Allen; grandchildren, Roderick Allen, Jr., Brian Keith Allen, Essence Allen, Rodneisha Allen, Arkeil Allen, De'angelo Allen. Kyrstin Allen, and Laderrick Allen; a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Vera) Cooper, Jr.; many other relatives and friends.
Bobbie's smile and love for life will forever live in the hearts and minds of everyone she touched.
