Ashton’s Journey of Life

     In Texas City, TX, a handsome baby boy was born to Ashlee Cashe’ Stout & Robert Earl Henderson, Jr on July 27, 2005. They named this miracle Ashton Ro’Shawn Henderson.

     He dedicated his life to Christ on May 06, 2012, at the age of 6 at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. His church activities consist of: Kinder choir, Youth choir (President}, Jr. Usher Board, Youth-in-Action, Vacation Bible School (Jr. Deacon), Sunday School, South Texas Association Jr. Usher.

     Ashton attended La Marque ISD; later converted to TCISD. He graduated from La Marque High School within the top 10% of his graduating class of 2023 with honors. Ashton was a prominent football player who played the offensive & defensive line. Ashton went on to further his education at Prairie View A&M University.

     In Ashton’s free time he loved to spend time with his son, Aceson (Poppa), listening to Rod Wave, being on the grill, cooking TikTok meals, being in the kitchen with his MeMe, hanging in his mancave (the shed), and he was a dedicated worker.

     On Wednesday,  April 30, 2025, at the young age of 19 years old Ashton was called to his heavenly home unexpectedly.

     Precious memories of his fruitful life will remain in the hearts of his beloved son, Aceson D’Shawn Henderson; devoted parents, mother, Ashlee Stout, “The Father That Stepped Up”,  Billy Crawford, dad, Robert Henderson, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Girtha Stout; siblings, sisters, Vernasia & Cherish Henderson & J’La Butler, brothers, Braelyn & Bryce Crawford & Cameron Henderson; Bonus Grandmother, Maudlene Jackson; Paternal Grandmother, Lena Lewis; Uncles, Roshawn Boone (Rochelle), Thomas Brown, Jr,; Aunts, Lorrie Wilkerson (Robert), Lisa Lewis, Tricey Young (Dennis); Bonus Aunt, Meca Vignes; Godmother, Steffanie Brown; Godbrothers, Brandon Jones & Kim Hubbard, Jr.; Godsisters, Mykeia & Rayven Fields; Special Friends, Jeremiah Stance, Cavance Holmes, Jimmie Saldana, IV; Mother of his son, Deshawna Hogues-Grimes; & a host of many other family members & friends.
